This laboratory will introduce you to methods quantifying the presence of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) in serum samples and correlating the amounts of hCG to the hormonal changes during pregnancy. |

As such, protein assays will
be performed. Immunoprecipitation, gel electrophoresis and
spectrophotometry will be used.
