Xin-tong Wang

Xin-tong Wang was born and raised in Harbin, China. She obtained both her BSc and MSc from Peking University. When she was an MSc student, Xin-tong majored in Pharmacology and conducted research on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors using two-electrode voltage clamp and whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiological recording assays. Xin-tong is interested in neuroscience, especially ion channels. She joined the Bowie lab as a PhD student in September 2019 through the Integrated Program in Neuroscience. Xin-tong's research will focus on iGluR signaling complexes.
