Kathrine Voigt Hansen

Visiting Graduate Research Trainee

Kathrine Voigt Hansen is a visiting Graduate Research Trainee from the University of Copenhagen. She grew up in Copenhagen where she finished her BSc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is currently writing her Master's Thesis as a member of both Professor Jette Sandholm Kastrup's lab and Associate Professor Darryl S. Pickering's lab in the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, University of Copenhagen. The purpose of her training in the Bowie lab is to investigate the structure and function of high affinity kainate receptors. Previous work includes protein purification and crystallography of kainate and AMPA receptors.
