Kaya is a U1 Pharmacology student from London, Ontario. Currently, she investigates retinal morphology at the Bowie Lab and is preparing to commence her own independent research project next semester. Previously, Kaya contributed to a project at McGill's Neurophilosophy Lab, where she used transcranial magnetic stimulation to explore the role of the right temporoparietal junction in implicit Theory of Mind. Outside of academics, Kaya enjoys painting, hiking, and volunteering as a First Responder.
