I am a Pharmacology Master's student in the Clarke and Hébert labs. During my BSc degree at McGill, my research in Clarke lab focused on rodent ultrasonic vocalizations as potential markers of affect, to better understand stimulant addiction and its resulting emotional states. I completed the Honours Pharmacology program in 2023, with a minor in Neuroscience. For my master's project, co-supervised in the Hébert lab specializing in GPCR signaling and biosensors, I am investigating whether we can distinguish the therapeutic benefits of psychedelic drugs from their hallucinogenic effect, through potential differences in their 5-HT2A receptor signaling in the brain, using fiber photometry to correlate downstream signaling mechanisms with various behavioural measures in vivo.
