I graduated from McGill University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Pharmacology, where during my final year I joined the Hébert Lab for an undergraduate research project. The project focused on investigating the effect of knocking down G proteins and the SWI/SNF complex on the cardiac fibrotic response, using rat neonatal cardiac fibroblasts as a model. I have since continued my work in the Hébert lab as I pursue graduate studies at McGill University and joined the Heart In A Dish project. The aim of this project is to use patient-derived iPSC-cardiomyocytes to further characterize dilated cardiomyopathy and investigate morphological features of the disease.
