In 2022, I completed my
undergraduate degree at McGill, majoring in
Biochemistry. As an undergrad, I began work in the Early
Drug Discovery Unit (EDDU) at the Neuro. I formed part
of the ALS team, where I aided in the development of an
iPSC-derived neuromuscular junction model. Later on, I
worked with the Neurodevelopment team in the
characterization of an iPSC-derived model for Fragile-X
syndrome. I continued my work with iPSC-derived neural
models as a lab technician at the Applied Organoid Core
(APoC, University of Toronto), where I was in charge of
the production of brain organoids for their distribution
amongst collaborators. I am now starting my Master´s at
Terry´s lab. I will be working on studying the
interaction of KCTD proteins with G protein subunits
using iPSC-derived cortical neurons.
