I pursued my undergraduate studies at McGill University where I graduated in January 2016 with a BSc in Pharmacology and Therapeutics.  Upon completion, I began my training as a graduate student Terry’s lab and my work focuses on the membrane-spanning β2-adrenergic receptor, one of the most studied G protein-coupled receptors.  My project uses bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) to investigate conformational states upon receptor activation in living cells. My aim is to understand how receptor conformation correlates with distinct signalling events associated with the multiple intracellular pathways engaged by the receptor.
