I completed my undergraduate
studies at McGill University with a major in Anatomy & Cell
Biology and a minor in Pharmacology. I just could not stay
away and returned to Montréal where I am currently working
on my Master’s in Terry’s lab here in the Department of
Pharmacology and Therapeutics at McGill. My project looks at
allosteric communication between receptors of class A GPCR
heterodimers, both physically and functionally. To start
off, I am manipulating the D2 dopamine and CB1 cannabinoid
receptor heteromer to further understand this phenomenon,
and will eventually expand my studies to other known GPCR
dimers. I see this as the start to my scientific career, and
I am excited to see where it takes me!
