I am
an incoming PhD student, with the opportunity to be
supervised by Dr. Jason Tanny and co-supervised by Dr.
Terry Hébert. I pursued my bachelor’s in pharmacy from
Jamia Hamdard, Delhi in India, after which I graduated
with an M.S in Pharmacology from the University of
Minnesota, Twin Cities, USA. I was drawn by their work
on histone modifications and transcriptional regulation
which I found really intriguing. Here, I will be
exploring the Cdk9-dependent pathways in cancer cells
using pathway-specific inhibitors."
