Anatomical Pathology
This elective is structured to acquaint students with disease processes
by the study of surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy material and to
correlate the clinical and pathological abnormalities. Considerable flexibility
is possible so that a student may spend more time in areas of particular
interest, such as neuropathology, gynaecological, fetal and neonatal, renal,
cardiac, hepatic, or pulmonary pathology, etc. , depending upon the hospital
selected and staff available. Participation in teaching conferences is
encouraged. The number of students which can be accommodated is variable
depending upon the specific hospital. Participating hospitals are listed
