Dr. Fleury is an Associate Professor in the McGill Psychiatric Department and researcher at the Douglas Research Centre in the Services, Policy and Population Health axis. She holds a CIHR young investigator award, and she is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health Administration at the Université de Montréal. Dr. Fleury’s fields of expertise are health-service organization and evaluation, particularly integration and quality of services as well as change implementation, needs-assessment, primary care, and service utilization. She is currently directing three research projects on care adequacy and the impact of the mental healthcare reform on patients with serious and moderate mental disorders, factors influencing service utilization of individuals with mental disorders, and the role of general practitioners in mental health. Dr. Fleury is also co-principal investigator of the MHCC Research Demonstration Projects in Mental Health and Homelessness (Montreal site). As co-researcher, she is also implicated on several studies, particularly related to substance abuse and patient recovery. Dr. Fleury also works closely with decision makers, especially in Quebec and France. She is extensively implicated in training programs for the Quebec health care system managers, and she takes part in several health care management or research committees.
