Clinical Fellowship in Academic Pediatrics The Department of Pediatrics has initiated a One year clinical academic fellowship program, in addition to the Alan Ross Award program. Applicants apply after having completed the equivalent of R2 or R3 level of training in Pediatrics at the time they assume the fellowship, in one of the Pediatric Specialties or Subspecialties. Applicants may be graduates of Canadian medical schools, American graduates, or international medical graduates, or international medical graduates. The award is $55,000 per annum plus Quebec Med Grad Tuition Fees. The Executive Committee of the Department will serve as the Selection Committee for this award. Ross, a distinguished former Professor and Chair of the Department
of Pediatrics at McGill, this Fellowship provides for pediatricians
in training who are intending to pursue academic careers in
Pediatrics. The candidate will have completed 3 years of core
training in Pediatrics and will undertake fellowship training in a
pediatric specialty or subspecialty. The training will have a
significant research component, and will normally be of two years
duration although the candidates will be encouraged to seek funding
