Canadian Graduates of Canadian Medical
Schools (non Quebec)
(Non-Ministry Funded Positions)
Canadian graduates of Canadian Medical
schools other than the four Quebec Faculties are also eligible to apply
as Fellows.
The Collège des médecins du
Québec verifies the equivalence of all medical degrees issued by a
Canadian medical school outside of Quebec and by all American medical
schools.
This is required in order for the CMQ to issue the resident training
card, which is required in order to be able to train in Quebec hospitals. Please consult them directly for
information (www.cmq.org).
Extensions of training are
not automatic and can only be considered for valid pedagogical reasons,
pending renewal of eligibility. Please contact your Program Director 12
months in advance.
Please note that in order for a physician to be able to be
