Fluorescent labeling of CFTR
expressed on the surface of baby hamster kidney cells.
Recombinant ligase was added to the bath solution to
catalyze biotinylation of a target sequence inserted into an extracellular loop of CFTR. Channels were
labeled by exposure to streptavidin–Alexa 568 and visualized
using confocal microscopy. |
