I
studied Pharmacology and Therapeutics in my
undergraduate degree at McGill and quickly discovered my
interest in the field. In my last year of studies, I did
a PHAR 599 year-long undergraduate research project in
Terry’s lab and I enjoyed it so much I decided to
continue it in my graduate studies. I joined the Hébert
lab in 2014 as a new MSc student, and now I study GPCR
cellular signalling networks and their downstream
effects. My current research investigates nuclear Gbg effects
on transcription and their possibility to modify
diseases such as cardiac hypertrophy through
microRNAs.
