I completed my undergraduate degree at McGill, majoring in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. In my last year of studies, I was able to participate in a PHAR 599 research project in the Hébert lab, looking at the effects of Gβγ signaling on global transcription. From there, I was able to continue the research I had started and am now pursuing my Master’s degree with Terry. My project focuses on establishing the roles of the different subtypes of Gβγ subunits on transcription via their interaction with RNA polymerase II in order to determine their potential involvement in cardiac disorders.
