My bachelor degree is in Biomedicine from the UNI-RIO and I have a Master of Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. I´ve had been studying Alzheimer´s disease (AD) since my time in Brazil.
Research Interests:
Drug development, Alzheimer´s disease and cholinergic systems.
Current projects:
I am initiating my PhD studies and the
first goal is to try to establish a cell line that
mimics the amyloidogenesis in AD to serve as model to
screen new drugs.
