Prevention Clinic
The genetic clinic
is held in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the
Montreal General Hospital. Patients who have a genetic disorder
that predisposes them to gynecological and breast cancer, are seen by the
multidisciplinary team comprised of a gynecological oncologist,
a geneticist and a genetic counselor. Therefore, a tailored
management plan is created to minimize the individual’s risk of
developing cancer.
