I grew up in Winnipeg and Lake Winnipeg, sailing and teaching at Gimli. After graduation from the University of Winnipeg, I lived in Darwin College at the University of Cambridge. I finished up my education in Seattle at the University of Washington’s Department of Biostatistics.

Dave and I were married in 2006. In spring 2009, our first son was born followed by our second in December, 2010.
