What events are these?

Even though there is an after-noon blip on weekdays, no it is not the numbers of lattes or other food takeaways ordered.
The numbers of these are a good few orders of magnitude higher!

The data in Figure 1 include all of the events that year, not a sample, and the data were compiled by a very respected statistical agency.

People in certain areas of the world have very limited access to the services that allow for these peculiar time-patterns.
This contributes to substantial morbidity and mortality.
