Namta Gupta, MD - Assistant Dean, Office of Student Affairs

Dr. Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and the Chief of Teaching at the CSSS de la Montagne. Dr. Gupta has been involved in teaching in both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in our Faculty, with a particular interest in women’s health, health promotion and mental health. She has been a leader in faculty development in the Department of Family Medicine and is a fellow with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She looks forward to facilitating your journey from student to physician.

Andrea has a Master of Arts in Student Development with a Minor in Counseling.  Having considered a career in the Health Sciences many years ago, she is happy to have found a "best fit" career that combines her interests and skills well, and she looks forward to helping you do the same.
