RESEARCH PROJECT

Defining a Role for LPP in the TGFβ-Induced Migratory and Invasive Phenotype of ErbB2 Expressing Breast Cancer Cells.

BACKGROUND

I first started in the Siegel lab as a summer student in 2007 and returned to complete an honors project in the winter of 2008. After finishing my B.Sc. in honors Biochemistry at McGill University in 2008, I officially joined the Siegel lab as a PhD student in the department of Experimental Medicine. I am now focused on understanding the mechanisms by which LPP mediates the migration and invasion of ErbB2 expressing breast cancer cells in response to TGFβ.
