RESEARCH -
Pharmacoepigenetics
Epigenetics refers
to heritable genetic information not encoded in
the DNA sequence. Epigenetic regulation of gene
expression is important for normal cellular
physiology and may play key roles in both diease
progression and responses to therapeutic
intervention. The Department is at the cutting
edge of this expanding area of research.
