Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to Nursing Explorations 2009. The McGill University School of Nursing and its Nursing Partners are proud to be presenting another exciting conference entitled, “Innovative Nursing Practice: Transforming Care at the Bedside and Beyond.”
In the early planning stages of this event, we reflected that nurses often feel captive to the ways that “things have always been done.” It was our feeling that this conference could empower nurses to see that there are many ways in which nurses can demonstrate leadership and innovation in their own work.
The McGill University School of Nursing has been at the forefront of nursing innovation for many years. We feel this conference is another example of that tradition. We hope you will join us as we explore innovative models of care and technologies that will enhance every aspect of the work that we do.
