1. Identifying and characterizing gene networks involved in altering diabetes risk.

2. Developing new analytic approaches to identify transcription networks using gene expression and ChIP-seq data.

3. Developing wet lab techniques to identify transcriptional networks involved in diabetes and other metabolic diseases.
