Projects for Thesis
Supervision:
1. Determining the role of chemokines and
chemokine receptors in muscle regeneration and muscular dystrophy
pathogenesis in the diaphragm using transgenic mice and tissue culture
models.
2. Determining the role of the cystic fibrosis
transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) in diaphragmatic and
peripheral skeletal muscle function.
3. Determining the role of Toll-like receptors
in diaphragmatic and peripheral skeletal muscle dysfunction in sepsis
and muscular dystrophy.
